Is my website affected by the October 2026 PHP vulnerabilities (php2shell)?
If your site runs on PHP and the server hasn't been upgraded to PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36, 8.2.35 or later, assume it is exposed. CMS and plugin auto-updates don't fix it: the PHP runtime on the server has to be upgraded, and PHP 8.1 and older get no fix from the PHP project. Send us your website address and we'll check it for you.
Can you fix PHP security issues quickly?
Yes. Active security issues get priority. We upgrade or mitigate first (patched PHP release, firewall rules, isolation), check for signs of compromise, then plan the longer-term fix.
What does a website security audit include?
Server and PHP versions, CMS core, plugins and themes, TLS certificates and configuration, security headers, exposed files and admin panels, user accounts and access, backups, and email DNS records. You get a prioritised report in plain language with a fixed-price fix plan.
Can you maintain a website you didn't build?
Yes, that is a common starting point. We begin with an audit, fix anything critical, then put the site on a maintenance plan. PHP sites included.
Will migrating from PHP hurt our Google rankings?
Not when it's done properly. Every existing URL either keeps its address or gets a permanent (301) redirect, titles and metadata carry over, and we monitor Google Search Console after launch.
How much does it cost?
Every project gets a fixed written quote after the initial check. Maintenance is a fixed monthly or yearly fee based on the size and criticality of the site.
